Let me show maybe one of the rarest promo cd ever, i think))
After 5 long years of searching i've found 2 COMPLETELY unreleased Rome's ballads
Until recently I did not know that this cd exists at all
Tracklist:
1. Say That You Will (featuring Keith Sweat)
2. Waist Down
3. Let's Ride
4. Thank You
5.
Without A Doubt
6.
Don't You Give Up
"Say That You Will" & "Waist Down" were included at
RCA 4-track promo, wich mentioned above. "Let's Ride" was "released" on
Bayside Entertaiment Distribution: Urban Special/in-store sampler (see pic), but "Without A Doubt" and "Don't You Give Up" weren't released anywhere else!
"Without A Doubt" is beautiful quiet ballad in a major, not tragic or sad type of song) It sounds maybe like Kino Watson's "I'm The Man (Your Mama Been Warnin' You About)" very relaxing with fine arrangement, but not exactly like Rome's debut album sound
Rome's vocal on top here) He sings his favourite long notes, but is a little high, from my point of view
"Don't You Give Up" is 5 minutes plus, gospel influenced ballad with strong female chorus) I like it
The lyrics are secular, but fine
At the end of the track Rome demonstrates absolutely crazy falsetto))
