Succumbing to his long battle with cancer, Keith Elam, better known as rap star Guru, passed away Monday.

The 43 year old Gang Starr member had been suffering for a long time, and had only recently confirmed his fight with the disease after news leaked that he had briefly slipped into a coma after having had a heart attack.
