Johnny Gill is the latest artist to sign a recording contract with St. Louis-based Notifi Records. This should be good news for Johnny's fans, since the soulful crooner hasn't released a solo project for the better part of 15 years.

Gill joins Ginuwine on the young label, whose very first single, Ginuwine's "Last Chance," hit #3 on the Billboard Hot R&B and Hip Hop Singles Chart.

Notifi CEO Ira Dewitt is determined to replicate her success with Ginuwine and return Johnny to his rightful place on top of the R&B game.

Johnny's first release for the label is due sometime in 2011.
